LAU Ki, Lokki, an artist and illustrator, graduated from Hong Kong Baptist University Chinese Language and Literature, is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Fine Arts at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Specializing in picture book storytelling, Lokki believes that every single word or image could tell a unique story. Lokki’s COVID-themed picture book has been featured in HK01 and interviewed by RTHK. Whether through words, illustrations, painting or sculpture, Lokki delights in using delicate and approachable techniques to express her thoughts and feelings. To her, art is a dance where life influences life, even with only one who is impressed, allows the emotional and creative spirit to be passed along endlessly.
