“FASA” (Reflections on the Everyday Showerhead)

As artists, we find inspiration in the everyday showerhead, prompting us to rethink often overlooked aspects of art. Just as we use it to wash away the day’s dirt, we consider how art can cleanse and nourish our inner selves. The showerhead channels water—a vital force that can shift from cold to warm, mirroring the diverse forms of artistic expression. This flow embodies the nurturing essence of art, vital for the growth of both creators and audiences.

Much like water nurtures plants, an exhibition acts as irrigation, allowing artworks to flourish and be understood. Engaging in creation invites joyful spontaneity, enabling us to envision a world beyond ourselves. The showerhead’s regulation of flow illustrates the interplay of strength and softness, reflecting our artistic journeys as we sift through choices to express ourselves. With its myriad droplets, the showerhead disperses water in different directions, symbolising how our ideas transform into tangible artworks. This duality of water—fluid yet static—mirrors our creative processes. Ultimately, we invite audiences to explore art’s transformative potential, resembling the act of taking a shower—a ritual that nourishes both body and spirit.
