Liminality: Exploring Paradoxes

Where light meets shadow, silence intertwines with sound, and certainty dances with doubt, we discover that understanding often resides with a paradoxical harmony.  “Liminality” invites viewers to contemplate the paradoxes that shape our realities, exploring the transitory states and spaces of our existence, and reflecting upon the thresholds of our shared experience.  Each piece of this exhibition challenges conventional boundaries, revealing the beauty in contradictions, as well as reflecting the personal transformations within our academic journey.  Through an array of mediums, we explore the balance of light and shadow, the duality of existence, and the tension of uncertainty.  As we navigate these liminal spaces alongside these artists in development, we confront the in betweenness of life, and therefore encourage a dialogue on transition, identity, and the ephemeral nature of truth.
